Bockfest

Description: BOCKFEST RETURNS FOR 20th YEAR! The 20th Annual Bockfest kicks off with the most unique parade in Cincinnati , starting Friday March 2 at Arnold 's at 5:30PM and winding up Main Street to Bockfest Hall ( 1619 Moore Street ) for the Blessing of the Bock Bier. Great bock beer and live entertainment at the Hall and participating venues in Downtown and OTR all weekend long. Historic tours, German Continental Sunday, and the finals of the Sausage Queen competition are some of the highlights of the weekend. Don't forget about the numerous events leading up to Bockfest! Final Friday Gallery WalkDate: Last Friday of each Month Time: 6:00PM-10:00PM Place: Over-the-Rhine. Description: Monthly gallery hop in historic Pendleton and on North Main Street , that continues through out the year on the last Friday of every month. Galleries and shops along North main Street, and at the Pendleton Art Center , open their doors to give everyone an opportunity to see everything from original works of art, vintage modern furniture, stunning floral arrangements, to chic design aesthetics. Many of the shops and galleries host exhibits and meet-the-artist receptions with refreshments. It's high energy, fun, and best of all free and open to the public. Architreks Tours

Description: ARCHITREKS TOURS OF YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD EVERY WEEKEND! Architreks/Cincinnati WALKS is in their 10th year of providing guided walking tours of the city and near suburbs. They have walks in Over-the-Rhine every 2nd and 4th Saturday at 10 leaving from the Coffee Emporium at 110 East Central Pkwy. They also have a Findlay Market/Brewery District tour each 1st and 3rd Saturday at 10 leaving from the north side of the Market House on Elder Street. No reservations are required. Cost is $15/adult. Brewery District Prohibition Resistance Tours

Description: The Brewery District Presents Prohibition Resistance Tours
Saturdays and Sundays at 1PM, starting May 21! Prohibition Resistance: The Lager Tour is an expansion of the popular Bockfest tours. This walking tour will explore the heart of Cincinnati's Brewery District. Participants will start at historic Findlay Market in the Over-the-Rhine Biergarten. See historic pre-Prohibition breweries such as the original Christian Moerlein complex, once one of the largest in the country. Visit the Clyffside brewery, one of the most stellar examples of brewery architecture in the city, and see the ornate high-bay brewing spaces inside. Travel deep under the Jackson brewery to the massive lagering cellars in the Clifton hillside. Finish the tour past the old Bellevue Incline, Phillipus Church, and Lafayette Hall.
